Last minute baby photo session
Those nine months can go by soooooo fast!
Being a two parent working family is NOT easy. Between the demands of work, the holidays, and running around after a two-year-old, this couple from Monroe, CT never found the time to book their newborn photo session in advance.
But, once baby brother arrived, they had two things on their side: 1. They kept my contact info from when I did newborn photos of big sister in their home (from over 2 years ago!), and 2. Since I am a full-time professional photographer, and not a hobbyist, I had enough flexibility in my schedule to stop by within a week of when they contacted me.

This little guy was ready for his newborn photo session, even if it was last minute.
So, only a week after his arrival, we got down to business. While big sister was busy spinning and giggling in the family room, and mom was giving him his last feeding before the session, I set up my beanbag and background by the big window at the front of their home.
Although he was more interested in taking it all in, instead of sleeping, we got some awesome photos of him with big sister, with mom and dad, and of course, some beauty shots of just him.
Asleep at last! This newborn was determined to stay awake through the entire session.
