Newborn Twin Photos to Ring in the New Year!

These twin boys may not have been in total sync with each other for their newborn photo session, but both were incredibly adorable.

Their true personalities were already coming through at just a couple of weeks old. Mom says that although they’re not identical twins, they do have a lot in common. But, they’re different people with different dispositions already!

This newborn photo session in their home was calm and relaxed, so the boys could just chill while we got the most authentic photographs. They didn’t have to be bundled up and taken out in the car for their first photo session, and therefore, they were more than ready to do their own thing in the comfort of their first home. This made it easier on mom, on the twins, and on their siblings!

Let’s Show Their Personalities, NOT Their Outfits

Although it is fun to dress up newborns with a lot of cute outfits and props, a more natural approach will give you more timeless baby photos. Baby photos, especially newborn twin photos, should focus on the babies themselves.

You’ll want to remember how tiny they were, and how fuzzy their heads were. All the other stuff (physical and mental) that the parents, and yes, the photographer, bring to the photo session should be left at the door.
