The ELLI Lab Preschool at Stepping Stones Museum in Norwalk sure had the right idea. They didn’t want to wait until the fall for preschool photo days.
Parents at the school-within-science-museum wanted quality preschool photography without having the hassle of using a big chain. And they wanted it to happen soon.
Ready for preschool photography now!
Indoors or outside.
Since it’s still chilly outside, we set up our mobile photo studio right next to the museum’s cafeteria. Without any natural light to use, we used a basic studio lighting set up with a black background. This produced gorgeous, modern portraits of each student.
Other backgrounds are available, or I’d be happy to go outside if the weather is cooperating. Kids love going out for photos, and parent love the natural candid feel of those photos.
Wherever the photos are taken, each parent can choose from 4 or 5 different poses for each child, or they can buy all the photos at a discount.
Everyone has a good time at photo days.
